This site is devoted to mixers from the Rudy Bozak electronics company originating in Connecticut and carried over to the TAI Florida location. It contains first hand documented facts by owners and employees from the original Bozak and TAI companies. In 1996 both Bozak Connecticut and TAI Florida no longer existed.

By 1995 the Bozak name only had been sold to a European company that manufactured small electronic products and later went out of business. Because they purchased the name and had no access to the electronic designs, tooling, or parts inventory, it would not be accurate to say they purchased the Bozak company. TAI Florida became a DBA (doing business as) designing conference room equipment with Shelly Glick from the original Bozak of Connecticut remaining. All remaining parts went to Buzzy Beck who produced mixers under his own brand name. In 2006 the Bozak name became property of another overseas company releasing their own designed electronic products.

2025 marks 50 years since the first Bozak CMA 10-2DL mixer appeared. Beginning with serial numbers D4900 from July 1975, various models are registered and know to have been produced. The first CMA 10-2DL mixers used CMA 10-2D chassis with original D power supply card holes cosmetically plugged with rivets. The chassis print model was CMA 10-2D1 and not CMA 10-2DL. These early converted CMA 10-2D chassis were phased out in late December 1975 with the CMA 10-2DL metal and rear print corrected chassis. By 1976 all D style chassis were depleted and the corrected chassis became production standard. Factory updates and model changes were available through the years.
